New Forest Rattler web site design and build (Feb 2009 to August 2009)

Description
I am one third of the team organising the New Forest Rattler (www.newforestrattler.co.uk) - a new cycle event in the New Forest. 300 riders have booked on this year and we hope to repeat the event next year! 50% of the profits will be going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust - a very worthwhile cause.

Technical
I designed the site using Fireworks CS4 and built the site using Dreamweaver CS4 using PHP and MySql. I'm proud of the booking system - it has successfully handled all 300 bookings (and a few more!) with no problem. The booking system is integrated with PayPal allowing our riders to pay online quickly and easily. The site has a callback system where PayPal can automatically let us know when a rider has paid, and their record is updated to reflect this.
